This year’s European Economic Congress, despite the new reality created by COVID-19, was a great event. Over 100,000 people on-line participated in it and three thousand guests at the International Congress Center.

EKG is the largest economic event in Central Europe. The Congress aims to identify phenomena and trends of key importance for the future of the economy and its development prospects – it is a forum for the exchange of experiences, opinions and knowledge about the Polish and European economy, economic, social and technological conditions for its development. Lean-Tech presented the latest technologies in the innovation zone of the National Center for Research and Development. We also took part in a panel discussion on innovations that help to run a business in a pandemic era. Leading Polish politicians took part in the European Economic Congress, which underlines the importance of this event. The Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland, Mateusz Morawiecki, commenting on his participation in the congress said: “Today it is particularly important to launch large public investment programs and encourage entrepreneurs to invest”. The head of the Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy took part in the discussion on the future of cities and urban policy, and visited us in the innovation zone of the National Center for Research and Development. “As part of the cohesion policy, we will continue investments implemented with the help of similar programs as in the ending perspective, because the solutions developed so far have proved successful,” announced Minister Małgorzata Jarosińska-Jedynak.

The European Economic Congress 2020 and the accompanying event of the European Start-up Days were a great opportunity for investors and businessmen to establish new business contacts in their industry. All those who could not participate in the congress are invited to watch the retransmission on the website: https://www.eecpoland.eu/2020/en/.
